Meet Your Provider: AJ Rimmasch

Alec (AJ) Rimmasch earned his Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) credentials from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 2013, which laid a solid academic foundation for his career. After several years of practicing in Vernal, Utah, AJ and his family decided to move home to St. George, Utah, where his passion for improving lives and optimizing health continues to drive his professional journey at Copper Rock Clinic.

His desire for his patient's well-being separates AJ's approach to healthcare. He has a patient-centered healthcare perspective. He takes the time to listen attentively to his patients. His commitment extends beyond symptom management; he actively works to uncover the underlying causes of health issues, prioritizing holistic solutions over quick fixes. Outside of his professional life, AJ treasures the moments he spends with his family. His wife, Cami, and their six children - Alec III, Carter, Kyle, Mailey, Milly, and Christian - are at the center of his world. They share a love for the great outdoors, frequently embarking on hiking adventures and exploring the scenic beauty of Utah together.

AJ experiences great joy from watching his children grow and supporting them in their various sporting events and other activities. AJ is not only passionate about the well-being of his family but also his personal health and fitness journey. He actively participates in various sports, including triathlons, Ironmans, marathons, and bike races like LoToJa. His commitment to physical fitness mirrors his approach to healthcare - a holistic pursuit of well-being.
